The Promise

You will stop accepting less.

Not to understand why someone treats you the way they do. To build the emotional strength to know your worth and hold it.

Basic Training is a ten-week live cohort that builds emotional capacity under load. It is standalone. No book required, no prerequisite, no reading list.

Most programs in this category take you out of your life for a few days, work you hard inside a protected room, and send you home to solve the hard part alone on Monday. Basic Training never removes you from your life. The repetitions happen with the actual sister, the actual boss, the actual mother, during the ten weeks, logged and witnessed by four people who are doing the same thing.

There is no transfer problem, because there was never a transfer.

The book speaks to someone who is hurt. Basic Training speaks to someone who has decided they are done accepting less.

Who it is for

  • The High Performer Running on Reserves

Director level and above, business owners, creatives, leaders. High functioning, and nobody knows. You do not want insight. You have insight. You want a system, and a place to run it.

  • The Veteran and the First Responder

You will not book a healing retreat. You will complete a Basic Training. Operations, Formation, Standing Order, and Commissioning are not decoration here. They are the removal of a barrier that has kept you out of this work for years. Third-party funding is often available through veteran service organizations and corporate veteran programs.

  • The One Who Holds Everyone Together

The oldest sibling. The caregiver. The person everyone calls. You have made yourself smaller so many times that you have lost track of where the line used to be. This is where you find it and learn to hold it.

Who it is not for, yet

Basic Training applies load on purpose.

  • Someone in active crisis, in an unsafe living situation, or in the early weeks of recovery
  • Enrollment includes a screening conversation — if this is where you are, we will tell you honestly and point you toward better help
  • The door stays open for a later cohort

The Method

Four instruments, every week

Content is delivered once. These four repeat every week for ten weeks, and three of them continue through Sustainment.

The Standing Order

1

The Standing Order

Four non-negotiable daily disciplines, set in Week One and logged every day. Deliberately small. Fifteen minutes a day that gets done beats forty-five that gets abandoned in Week Two.

2

The Contact Report

After any encounter with a difficult dynamic you log it: what happened, what fired in the body, which protocol you reached for, whether it held, how long it took you to come back, and what you would run differently. One per week minimum, filed to your squad. Contact Reports are the raw material for every live call.

3

The Squad

Five participants, fixed for the full ten weeks, meeting sixty minutes weekly without Nicole. Your squad is the most valuable feature of this program, ahead of the content, and it keeps meeting through Sustainment.

4

The Measurement

The same instruments at Reception and at the end of Sustainment. A validated, published, licensed self-report battery alongside Emmuna™ biometrics. You leave with a readout, not a feeling.

The Contact Report — fields logged each time

The core working tool, and what makes this a training rather than a course. One per week minimum, filed to your squad. Contact Reports are the raw material for every live call.

01What happened and who was involved
05Whether the protocol held
02What fired in the body first
06How long it took to come back
03Which protocol you reached for
07What you would run differently
04Which level of the Load Ladder
08Return time, in hours or minutes

Ten weeks of these becomes something no book can hand you: a record of your own nervous system under live conditions, in your own handwriting.

Everything taught here is science-informed and drawn from published work in stress physiology, psychoneuroimmunology, and bioregulation, alongside Nicole Baldwin's own recovery and eighteen years of military and mental health advocacy work. It is educational and experiential in nature. It is not therapy, and it is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care.

The Structure

Ten weeks on the range

Ten weeks of instruction, with two weeks of Reception in front of it and twelve weeks of Sustainment behind it. The course is the ten weeks. The rest exists so the ten weeks holds.

Baseline assessment. Intake and screening conversation. Squad assigned deliberately, never randomly. Materials shipped. Standing Order drafted. Emmuna™ paired and collecting.

The Outcome

What graduates leave with

That is the promise. Everything that follows is the machinery that delivers it.

Self-Respect That Holds

Not the kind you feel on a good day. The kind that still runs when someone who knows exactly where to reach you reaches you.

Four Protocols on Instinct

DETECT©, EIR Breathing©, PEACE PAUSE©, and IMMUNE SHIELD©, drilled to the point of reflex rather than memorized.

A Body That Comes Back

Faster recovery from a difficult encounter, and fewer of them landing in the first place.

Self-Care as Discipline

Something you do because you are worth maintaining, not something earned after everyone else is handled.

A Squad of Four Who Were There

People who understand what it cost you to say nothing at Thanksgiving.

The Strength to Require More

From the people in your life, from your work, and from what you are willing to call normal.

200 Logged Protocol Repetitions

Basic Training guarantees 200 logged protocol repetitions across the ten weeks. Twenty a week. Roughly three a day. Countable, and yours.

Your Commissioning Credential

Issued at Week 10. Standing Order rewritten for Sustainment. The readout delivered. Your record, not a feeling.

What this does not do. It does not remove the person from your life, resolve what they did, or replace clinical care. It trains what you do while they are still there.

Every seat includes

  • Ten ninety-minute live calls with Nicole
  • The Basic Training Field Manual, shipped
  • A fixed squad of five, weekly for ten weeks and monthly through Sustainment
  • Weekly coach office hours
  • Baseline and closing assessment with a written readout
  • One private session with Nicole
  • The Commissioning and your credential
  • Twelve-week Sustainment phase

The Load Ladder

Five rungs, every protocol

A protocol that only works in a quiet room is not a protocol. It is a nice idea you had once. Difficulty is programmed here the way it is programmed in a strength cycle.

A squad is five people who meet for one hour a week with no facilitator in the room. You read your Contact Reports aloud. You state your numbers. You commit to one specific thing before you meet again. That is the whole design, and it is the part graduates talk about a year later.

Every protocol is drilled at every level before the ten weeks end, and you always know which rung you are on. The rep count is 200 logged protocol repetitions across the ten weeks — twenty a week, roughly three a day.

1

Clean

Quiet room, no clock, protocol run from the card.

Level One

2

Timed

On a clock, from memory, card put away.

Level Two

3

Loaded

Run with interference. Noise, a second task, fatigue, the end of a long workday.

Level Three

4

Live

Run inside a real encounter with a real person, and logged afterward.

Level Four

5

Ambush

Run when you did not plan for it, and recovered from after.

Level Five

The rep count

  • Every protocol is drilled at every level before the ten weeks end, and you always know which rung you are on
  • The rep count is 200 logged protocol repetitions across the ten weeks — twenty a week, roughly three a day
  • By Week 10 you stop asking whether you did it right. You start asking which level you held it at

"Bioregulation is the body's ability to come back to balance after it has been shaken. The number that defines this program is not how calm you feel. It is how long it takes you to come back."

Your Care

Return time and your care

This program applies load on purpose. Everything below is built in, not available on request.

Emotionally Immune Basic Training is an educational and experiential self-regulation program that draws on the Emotional Immunity Framework™. It provides training in personal bioregulation. It does not provide individual or group psychotherapy, clinical psychiatric care, or medical diagnosis, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Participants currently under professional care are encouraged to discuss participation with their provider before applying.

Your Guide

Nicole Baldwin

She learned to regulate her nervous system on one of the most dangerous roads in the world, then had to learn it again to survive the people in her own life.

Executive Education

Nicole Baldwin is a U.S. Army combat veteran and the creator of the Emotional Immunity Framework™. She served in USACAPOC, trained alongside Civil Affairs, Psychological Operations, and Special Forces, and earned the Combat Action Badge, a distinction fewer than five percent of the military will ever wear.

What her training did not prepare her for was the interior battlefield. The one that does not end when the deployment does. The one that shows up at family dinners, in text messages from people she had trusted, and in the 2 a.m. thoughts that would not settle. She was not winning those battles, not for lack of discipline, but because she was using external tools for an internal problem.

So she built the framework she needed, out of the only training she had, and then lived inside it until it worked.

Why it is structured like a deployment

Nicole was trained in the Army, and the language is not decoration. You do not become capable under pressure by understanding what to do. You become capable by doing it, repeatedly, in conditions that ask something of you, until it no longer requires you to think first. Operations. Missions. Briefs and debriefs. Every drill is a repetition, and repetition is the only thing that has ever produced steadiness that shows up on its own.

Where this leads

Basic Training is the guided path to the Emotionally Immune Retreat, seven nights on a private compound in Tulum where the framework is tested under live relational pressure. Your Commissioning record is the credential the retreat application verifies. Graduates who trained in the same squad may request to deploy together.
